and Projects Management

DESCRIPTION

Mandat International is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Assistant of Direction, Communication Officer and Project Manager with an excellent level of English to support the Director of the foundation, its communication activities and projects development. The candidate must have a University Master degree and an excellent level of English. Track record in communication and fluency in French and other European languages are a plus. Full time or part time.

 

DUTIES

  • Assist the Director
  • Manage his mail box
  • Editing and producing content in English
  • Participate in the development of research proposals in English
  • Supporting outreach and dissemination of European research projects
  • Help organize conferences, workshops, webinars, and online dissemination events
  • Preparing posts for social medias
  • Promoting events and new services through various channels
  • Updating and managing webpages and website content
  • Writing reports and deliverables on dissemination and communication activities
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of new research proposals

 

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • University Master degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent level of English (C1), both written and spoken
  • Experience with online information and communication
  • Experience with social media and website content management
  • Strong interest in international cooperation and innovative technologies
  • Capacity to work autonomously and in a team
  • Sense of responsibility and strong attention to details
  • Possibility to work in Switzerland at least part of the time (EU citizen or Swiss resident)

Desired:

  • Experience of communication for European research projects
  • Experience with journalists and media communication and/or European research projects
  • Ability to use Adobe suite, in particular Adobe Illustrator, and/or other design applications
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Experience with WordPress and Drupal and languages such as PHP and HTML5
