International Cooperation and Sustainable Development
Mandat International is located in the heart of the international arena in Geneva, close to the European UN headquarters and other international organizations such as the World Meteorological Organization, the World Health Organization, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. such as the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO), and the Geneva Environment Network. It also collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the TM Forum, the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). Mandat International has special consultative status to the UN (ECOSOC) and is a sector member of the International Telecommunications Union.
Standardization
Mandat International is actively contributing to standardization activities and leverages its proximity to major standard development organizations such as the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO), and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It works in close cooperation with other major SDOs such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the TM Forum, the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
Sustainable Development
Mandat International supports sustainable development and is engaged in research activities related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It led the edition and adoption of the International Declaration on the Internet of Things for Sustainable Development (IoT4SDG) adopted in 2017 in Geneva. It has expertise in impact assessment and developed an innovative methodology to align and monitor projects from the SGDs perspective.

Dissemination and International Conferences
Mandat International actively supports international outreach and dissemination, particularly through coordination and organization of international conferences. It is one of the founders and active supporter of international conferences such as the IoT Week, Digital Around the World, and the Privacy Symposium conferences. Mandat International also supports dissemination of research results through international organizations and fora.
