GreenDIGIT aims to develop and validate a consistent framework, including a package of innovative technical solutions, models, and tools to increase the sustainability of digital RIs by lowering their environmental and climate impact throughout the whole lifecycle. Mandat International is developing an environmental impact assessment methodology to measure and mitigate environmental impacts of digital RIs.

ALCHIMIA aims at the digitalization of big European metallurgy industries to unlock the full potential of artificial intelligence and support green growth. The main objective of ALCHIMIA is to ensure the greatest levels of safety, trust, and smooth communication between artificial intelligence-powered industrial solutions and workers in those industries. Mandat Internartional is leading the communication strategy and assessing the project impact on the UN SDGs with the use of the IAM4SDG methodology.

SLICES-PP (Preparatory Phase) will validate the requirements to engage into the implementation phase of the RI lifecycle. NAIADES aims at supporting the digitization of water sector by providing a holistic solution for the control and management of water ecosystems by municipalities. Fed4FIRE+ developed the largest federation worldwide of Next Generation Internet (NGI) testbeds. Mandat International has led the interoperability and standardization strategy of Fed4FIRE+.

GATEKEEPER aims at connecting healthcare providers, businesses, entrepreneurs, elderly citizens and their communities, in order to originate an open, trust-based arena for matching ideas, technologies, user needs and processes, aimed at ensuring healthier independent lives for the ageing populations. Mandat International supported the data protection policy of the project.

IoT Lab was coordinated by Mandat International. It researched and developed a platform exploring the potential of testbed federation with crowdsourcing and Internet of Things for multidisciplinary pervasive research and validation with more end-user interactions.

SynchroniCity is the European large-scale pilot on IoT for smart cities that brought together European and international cities, such as Milan, Helsinki, Manchester, Porto, Eindhoven, Santander, Bordeaux, Carouge. It developed a reference architecture for smart city deployments. Mandat International led the data protection policy and the standardization of the open API at the ITU. It led also integration with the Urban Platform of the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC).

U4IoT was in charge of supporting end-user engagement in the European large-scale pilots on IoT, in domains such as smart cities, smart agriculture, health, industry and smart transportation. Mandat International led the development of privacy by design crowdsourcing tools and methodology to support co-creation and end-user validation of the deployed solutions.

IoT6 aimed at exploiting the potential of IPv6 and related standards for the future Internet of Things, researches, designs and developed a highly scalable IPv6-based Service-Oriented Architecture to achieve interoperability, mobility, cloud computing integration with Software as a Service (SaaS) and intelligence distribution among heterogeneous smart things components, applications and services. IoT6 project was coordinated by Mandat International.

The F-Interop project aimed at researching, developing and supporting online testing tools for emerging standards and technologies of the Internet of Things, facilitating remote interoperability, conformance and performance tests. Mandat International acted as scientific coordinator of the project.

SAINT provided a clear set of methodologies, regulatory recommendations, behaviour protocols, business model, guidelines and best practices to all relevant stakeholders including policy makers, regulators, governmental authorities, law enforcement agencies, investors and relevant market operators.

ANASTACIA researched and developed a holistic security framework using artificial intelligence to secure IoT deployments and all phases of the ICT Systems Development Life cycle. Mandat International led the development of the Dynamic Security and Privacy Seal.

5G!Pagoda (with partners such as Orange and KDDI) brought together European and Japanese industries and researchers to develop a framework for dynamic network slicing management and orchestration in 5G and future cellular networks. Mandat International led the extension of the network slicing to IoT at the edge, the standardization and the market analysis.

5G-DRIVE was in charge of researching connected-vehicles technology and validating interoperability between EU and China 5G networks operating at 3.5 GHz bands for enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) and 3.5 & 5.9 GHz bands for V2X scenarios. Mandat International supervised personal data protection and coordinated the standardization activities.
